Cats & kittens

Rehoming list

Please consider an older cat as they are often calmer, gentler, loving and more grateful!
Black or black and white cats and kittens are nearly always overlooked so please also take this into account.

Angel (F) HC3829

Age: 2 years
Urgent rehoming required
Angel is related to Seraphina

Angel is a beautiful young adult cat, with a sweet nature and a clear desire to recapture her kittenhood.  She plays with all the toys available, but her particular favourite is the catnip fish skeleton (see photo); having thus worn herself out, Angel looks around, yawning, for a comfortable sofa on which to snooze

Angel came to us after giving birth to four kittens in someone's shed.  She has obviously been someone's pet in the past, and we don't know how long she had to fend for herself, but she is now very shy of humans.  She doesn't hiss or spit at all, merely stepping back and keeping a wary eye on strangers.  Angel is submissive towards other cats, always standing aside while everyone else eats, before having her own dinner.  She will probably take time to settle in her forever home, but the investment of patience and persistence will undoubtedly pay great dividends.

Ideally, we'd like to home Angel with her daughter, Seraphina (HC3831), to a household without other cats, and preferably where they are not left alone for long periods.  Mother and daughter both have sensitive digestion, which means they are unable to eat regular supermarket cat food.  After much trial and error, their fosterer settled them on a mix of Burn's and John Wellbeloved; not a prescription diet, nor as expensive as one.

Angel has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms. The second photo shows mum and daughter curled up together at nap time.  They would be best suited to a quiet adult home

Seraphina (F) HC3831

Age: 17 months
Urgent rehoming required
Seraphina is related to Angel

Seraphina is a small and dainty kitten, full of life and energy, and keen to investigate and play with everything that comes to her attention.  She loves to chase foam balls up and down the stairs, and will sit there, chirruping and peeping, to call a human to join in her games.  A real mini-me of her mother, Angel (HC3829), Seraphina is shy, but clearly wants to make friends, even if it takes her longer than usual to do so.
