Kira – aka Elfie

Another happy ending

Elfie (now known as Kira) came to us shortly before Christmas along with her Mum Holly who had been a stray in someone’s garden. Although absolutely beautiful, this kitten was very timid. She was adopted after a few weeks in our care and here’s what her new owner has to say about her:

” Kira arrived very shy and kept hiding behind the radiator, but as soon as we stroked her head she would purr. Bit by bit she has come out of her shell. 2 weeks on and she climbs on to our laps, rolls over for belly rubs, and is quite active in the evenings running around and playing football. We just love having her in our sunny kitchen. She miaows hello in the morning!”
