Thor (M) HG128Age: 13 months
Thor and Loki came into Haws aged 3 weeks after an unplanned breeding. They were rehomed as a pair but unfortunately started to fight and were therefore returned to us. After their return to Haws they were kept separately over night but allowed daytime visits to the run together, as this was progressing well in their foster home and they have not fallen out at all they have been living peacefully together day and night. To keep the peace between them they must have daily access to a run with lots of igloos and hiding places. Along with activities that stimulate their environment. Toys, hidden treats. Small boxes to investigate or climb on etc They must also have a large enough space overnight so that they can have time out from each other should they wish to. This can be done with hideaways and igloos or cardboard boxes. Both Guinea Pigs have been neutered. All this extra effort will most certainly be worth it, both Guineas are very sociable and are well handled and used to people and older children. They cope well with being cuddled and squeak cheerily when you approach their environment. They won’t disappoint! We do feel an experienced Guinea pig home is needed for this pair. Loki (M) HG129Age: 13 months
Loki came into Haws with his brother Thor aged 3 weeks after an unplanned breeding. They were rehomed as a pair but unfortunately started to fight and were therefore returned to us. After their return to Haws they initially were OK together, but had occasional fights after long periods of peace, and after one severe bout we have decided to separate them. Loki has been neutered. He is very sociable and enjoys being handled and is used to people and older children. He will communicate with gurgles and will squeak cheerily when you approach him with food.
Loki must have daily access to a run with lots of igloos and hiding places, along with activities that stimulate his environment: toys; hidden treats; small boxes to investigate or climb on etc. He is ready to make friends with a special lady.
