Skippy (F) HC4486

Age: 20 months
Must be homed with Hopper

We probably should have called Skippy Juliet and her boyfriend Hopper Romeo. They came into our care separately and Skippy had been living outside longer than Hopper  Hopper was the most confident and because Skippy was very timid we thought that putting them together would help her. This has worked well and Skippy loves to play with Oscar and can match his energy. They love each other and Skippy follows Hopper everywhere.  Skippy still remains a litte wary of humans (unless food is involved) but her confidence has increased dramatically in foster care.

We couldn't bear to part them so Skippy and Hopper must be homed together.  Skippy is the one at the back of the photo.

Skippy and Hoper would suit a home with enough space for them to retreat to for naps and would enjoy a secure garden to explore and play in.

Please don't apply to adopt them if you are outside our catchment area or don't have access to a garden

  • Adult only home required
  • Garden required
  • Skippy has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated

Lesley (F) HC4511

Age: 16 months
Lesley is related to Delilah

Lesley is a small bundle of energy. She is very affectionate and will enjoy sitting on your lap once she gets to know you. She's got a good appetite and loves playing with her toys. She likes the other cats in the house but she will initially be timid with people she doesn't know.

Lesley must be homed with her sister Delilah. Her foster family is a single person household with three resident cats, so she is looking for a similar household with one or two adults, and maybe a resident cat wanting some new friends.

Lesley is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

  • Adult only home required
  • Garden required
  • Quiet home required
  • Lesley has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated
  • Wider coverage area considered

Delilah is confident and feisty. She will let you stroke her once she's decided you can be her friend, but only when she feels like it. She likes the other cats in the house and enjoys playing and exploring.

Hopper (M) HC4513

Age: 17 months
Must be homed with Skippy

Hopper is a curious and friendly young cat who loves to play and is looking for a home he can settle down in.   He loves to follow you around the  house calmly, enjoying a good stroke, with an hour or so of energetic playng throughout the day.

We probably should have called Hopper 'Romeo' and his girlfriend Skippy 'Juliet'.  They came into our care separately and Hopper was paired with Skippy who had spent longer living outside and so was more wary.   So to build her confidence we thought that putting them together would help her and this has worked well.   They love each other and Skippy follows Hopper everywhere.

Hopper and Skippy are neutered and fully vaccinated.  Hopper is the one in the front of the photo.

They would suit a home with enough space for them to retreat for naps and would enjoy a secure garden to explore

We couldn't bear to part them so Hopper and Skippy must be homed together

Please don't apply to adopt them if you are outside our catchment area or don't have access to a garden.

Cleo (F) HC4519

Age: 15 months

Cleo is a sweet, calm and quiet tabby cat. No fuss, no voice, no smelly poops, no bonkers running around in the morning.

Like every cat she might come across shy in the beginning but her curiosity is stronger then her fear of the unknown.

After she ventured into the garden, she fell in love with it. She spent all summer sunbathing on a lounger, chasing bugs, watching birds, watching the neighbours, but she never jumped the fence. She would squeak at you if you are not moving fast enough to open the door.

Her favourite toy is a shoe lace. She caries  it around the house, we often found it in front of our bedroom or by the front door when we come home. That’s why we think that she tries to please us.

She follows us around the house like a puppy demanding attention by dropping on her back for belly rubs. Her favourite place is to lay next to you demanding chest, head, belly, nose and paw massage, in one word, a complete spa day. All night she would sleep quietly next to us.

She is uncomfortable around young children, so we would be looking for a home with older children or a quiet adult only home.

She is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

  • OK with older children
  • Garden required
  • Cleo has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated

Penny (F) HC4589

Age: 22 months

Penny came into our care with her four kittens a few months ago. Initially she was nervous, and understandably protective over her 2 week old  kittens. But as they grew, so did her confidence.

This is what her foster home says about her.

She will lick food from your fingers, and if you are lucky you can get a little head stroke in at the same time. She will happily trot around, and is particularly fascinated by the smells that come down the (blocked up) chimney.

When our next set of unrelated kittens came in she had a few lovely conversations with them through their pen, so I think she would be fine with another cat who could help her learn confidence with humans. She also happily lays next to my 3 house rabbits.

If someone had the time to befriend her I think she has the makings of a loyal pet. A quiet adult home would be best for her.

Penny has been spayed, vaccinated and miro-chipped.

  • Adult only home required
  • Garden required
  • Quiet home required
  • Penny has been neutered, microchipped and has started vaccinations
  • Wider coverage area considered

Rino (M) HC4659

Age: 9 months

Rhino has come a very long way from the scared little boy he was when he first came into our care. This is what his foster home says.

He is a very handsome tabby boy, a sweet cat who loves strokes, and  gives little head butts  to request more.  Although he still likes his own space, Rhino also enjoys spending hours sleeping on the couch next to us. He has changed a lot since he arrived, he was always hiding and stayed in his safe place when we were in the same room.   Now, he does somersaults on the couch requesting our attention and purring. He likes to play as well, and loves chasing the laser pointer, he thinks he is a good hunter, although he usually fails to catch it!

We think he wlll be best suited to a quiet adult home as he's not used to children

Rhino has been neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.

  • Adult only home required
  • Garden required
  • Quiet home required
  • Rino has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated
