Cleo (F) HC4519

Age: 4 years

Cleo is a sweet, calm and quiet tabby cat. No fuss, no voice, no smelly poops, no bonkers running around in the morning.

Like every cat she might come across shy in the beginning, but her curiosity is stronger than her fear of the unknown!

After she ventured into the garden, she fell in love with it. She spent all summer sunbathing on a lounger, chasing bugs, watching birds, watching the neighbours, but she never jumped the fence. She would squeak at you if you are not moving fast enough to open the door.

Her favourite toy is a shoe lace. She carries it around the house, we often find it in front of our bedroom or by the front door when we come home. That’s why we think that she tries to please us.

She follows us around the house like a puppy demanding attention by dropping on her back for belly rubs.

She is uncomfortable around young children, so we would be looking for a home with older children or a quiet adult only home.

She is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

  • OK with older children
  • Garden required
  • Cleo has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated

Purrdy (M) HC4933

Age: 4 years

Purrdy was a stray being fed by a group of neighbours but as they all had their own pets couldn't keep him. He has been in a foster home for a while now and we have recently had an update on how he is getting on...

Overall, he has really come out of himself and his personality is much more obvious. He "talks", lets you know exactly what he wants and if his requests aren't attended to quickly enough he lets you know by more insistent noises.
He has become very affectionate, likes to sit or sleep on my lap or by my side quite often and will sometimes try to rub his face on mine as though "marking" me.
He's now very keen to be brushed and will roll repeatedly from side to side as though he wants to make sure both sides get the same treatment. He has also discovered a concrete seat in the garden which gets warmed by the sun. He loves to sleep on it and is very happy to have his grooming sessions there while he relaxes. If it has been raining and he comes in wet, he likes to be towelled dry.
When he wants to eat, he will sometimes go straight to his bowl and tuck in to his food. If there is not a lot of food left and he can see the bottom of the bowl, he "requests" the bowl to be replenished.  When that is done he will still sometimes wait for a verbal invitation to start eating before he does.
He likes his toys and especially if I join in and play with him. He is absolutely fascinated by empty bags and always gets inside them, sometimes sitting there quietly for some time before he gets out again. The first time it happened I didn't know what was going on when, what appeared to be an empty bag sitting on the floor, suddenly began to move!

Purrdy can still scratch or bite, much less often as time has passed and I understand more about the triggers which might cause that behaviour: moving hands/arms near his face, not attending to his requests quickly enough leading to irritation on his part and a bad reaction. Proximity to him on those occasions has to be carefully managed. I am sure he has had some bad experiences in the past which is causing this behaviour. But he is such a lovely boy and is very rewarding. He would make an ideal companion and I feel he would continue to improve with the passing of time and the right owner.

Snowdrop (F) HC5065

Age: 3 years
Urgent rehoming required

Meet Snowdrop. She was abandoned with her 3 kittens outside one of our vets amongst a pile of rubbish bags. They were in a broken carrier tied up in several polythene bags with no ventilation. We can't bear to think what might have happened if one of the vet nurses had not stayed late after the surgery had closed and found them.

Despite what happened to her she is a sweet and friendly little cat who deserves a good home after being treated so appallingly.

At first she was very shy and scared of loud noises. It took her 2 to 3 weeks to settle into her foster home and stop hiding, but now she likes jumping on to the sofa and sitting with her foster Dad while purring loudly.  He tells us that "she loves playing with the laser pen toy and running around, eats well (both dry and wet food), she looks for us in the morning and in the evening to give her food".

We think Snowdrop would do best as an only cat and she seems to settle better with men than women.

  • OK with older children
  • Garden required
  • Snowdrop has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated

Spyder (M) HC5112

Age: 2 years

Spyder turned up in his fosterers' garden, very scared and extremely hungry.  Vets confirmed he wasn't microchipped and despite posting on local forums nobody claimed him.

He's friendly and affectionate on his own terms but spends a lot of time outdoors regardless of the weather and not a lap cat.  He is also a prolific hunter and  a wanderer  so it would need to be somewhere very safe from traffic,  he currently lives in a very quiet cul-de-sac.  Spyder is quite a small cat for a boy.

He's friendly with other cats outside,  but not so keen on them coming into "his house" apart from one female who lives a few doors away.

  • Adult only home required
  • Garden required
  • Spyder has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated

Mrs Sophia Miracle (F) HC5123

Age: 3 years
Mrs Sophia Miracle is related to Himala
Must be homed with Himala

Mira turned out to be the most complex case relating to spaying we have ever had! She miraculously had 4 kittens after an incomplete spay flummoxed multiple vets, but has finally been completely spayed and has reacted to the change in hormones by becoming even more affectionate, playful, funny and loving than she was even when she came into our care.

This beautiful girl needs to be adopted with her daughter Mala, as she needs her mum  to make her feel more secure.

Mira bounces from charging around like a lunatic to lying as close to your face as possible and making biscuits whilst purring her head off!!

We don't understand why these two beautiful cats haven't been adopted by now.

Himala (F) HC5171

Age: 20 months
Himala is related to Mrs Sophia Miracle
Must be homed with Mrs Sophia Miracle

Mala is an utterly beautiful young girl who has boundless energy especially when reflected light is involved, asks vocally for toys to be turned on, loves nothing better than chasing her Mum and being chased by her Mum, sitting in front of your computer monitor, climbing bookcases like stepladders and getting closer than her mum to her human's face for cuddles and head rubs.

Mala has a loud purr and a penchant for getting under bedding and fleeces. She doesn't like sudden noises  so needs to be in a calm home and to be adopted with her mother Mira who gives her confidence.

Mala is fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered.   We really don't understand why these beautiful cats haven't been adopted by now.

Lena (F) HC5186

Age: 2 years
Lena is related to Poppy
Must be homed with Poppy

Lena is a lovely, playful calico lady. She has been with her foster family for a few months now, together with her sister Poppy. Although they were quite shy at the beginning, giving them plenty of time to adjust has helped them feel completely at home and show their true personalities.

Lena is sweet, intelligent, curious, and loves to explore her surroundings. Once settled in her new home, she will happily follow you around to check out what you're doing. She enjoys chasing a ball (or her sister) up and down the stairs, looking out of windows, and relaxing in her favourite quiet spots. Food and play time help a lot with getting her attention and gaining her trust. She's an absolute pro at getting Dreamies out of the treat dispenser toy!

While in the first few weeks she was a little unsure around humans, she gained a lot more confidence with time: when she's relaxed, she really enjoys cuddles and brushing, and has become a lot less shy with house guests. She quite likes her me-time, lounging in her igloo bed or observation point at the top of the stairs. She is at her most relaxed in the morning, and tends to get active in the evening, playing with Poppy and getting very chatty when dinner time is approaching.

Lena and Poppy are fairly independent, and can easily handle being home on their own if people are not around for part of the day. They are not lap cats, but they do enjoy sharing space with people, and are wonderful to be around. They will be at their best with adopters who are happy to give them all the time they need to relax and feel at home. They will appreciate a few quiet spots to retreat to when they need rest or safety (they will love igloo cat beds or a cat tree). Over the summer, we also found that they really enjoy being outdoors: if a secure garden is available, they will spend hours exploring every corner.

Poppy (F) HC5209

Age: 2 years
Poppy is related to Lena
Must be homed with Lena

Poppy is a stunning tabby with the sweetest round face and yellow eyes. She has been with her foster family for a few months now, together with her sister Lena. Although they were quite shy at the beginning, giving them plenty of time to adjust has helped them feel completely at home and show their true personalities.

Poppy is curious, playful and easy-going, though she is the more timid of the two sisters. At the beginning, she may prefer to follow Lena's lead when playing and getting to know her surroundings; however, she definitely has a mind of her own, and will very much enjoy solo explorations once she gains confidence. Over time, she has become comfortable to the point that she follows people around all the time, and is always on the lookout for a new adventure (and treats). She also loves playing with Lena or by herself, looking out of windows, and napping in her favourite safe spots.

She is an inquisitive and friendly cat who loves being in the same room as her favourite humans, but she is not a fan of cuddles or being touched. Initially, she will likely keep at a safe distance, but food treats and play time help with getting her attention and gaining her trust. As she gains confidence, she is also becoming chattier and showing her silly side: it's very funny to watch her run after toys and try to catch flies, and she's incredibly sweet when she eats Dreamies out of our hands!

Poppy and Lena are fairly independent, and can easily handle being home on their own if people are not around for part of the day. They are not lap cats, but they do enjoy sharing space with people, and are wonderful to be around. Elodie (F) HC5219

Age: 2 years
Elodie is related to Melody
Must be homed with Melody

Elodie and her sister Melody are lovely cats who were found in a disused carpark and a kind man who was feeding stray cats there alerted us to Melody who had very young kittens hidden in bushes. We managed to get Melody, her kittens and her sister Elodie. We think that both cats had probably been dumped there at some stage as they were not feral, although very shy, but they came up to the man who fed them.

In our time with Elodie, we’ve seen her confidence grow. Although she’s the shyer and quieter of the sisters, Elodie is curious and likes to explore her surroundings. She didn’t take long before she was happy to spend the day in the same room as us.

At this point, Elodie isn’t yet ready for us to stoke her fully, but she is happy to come and sniff your hand and is showing initial signs of progress after allowing a few small, gentle strokes of her paw or back when very relaxed. We’re hopeful in time she’ll progress further. She does, however, have a lovely way of showing you she knows you care… she slowly closes her eyes when you talk to her, showing a look of contentment.

Elodie, does however show a slightly bolder side when it comes to her favourite thing, eating! If you’re too slow delivering her food, she won’t hesitate to use her voice to get her message across.

Elodie’s favourite pastime is watching TV. When she does, she really gives it her full attention and always goes for a front row view! She loves watching cat TV, any other animal programs, as well as sports, the news and in fact any other shows she feels will broaden her education.

Elodie does like to play when she gets a chance, as her sister often jumps in first. She’s a bit calmer than Melody, and if it’s a fluffy toy, she’ll gently wash it when caught rather than bite it.

In our experience we’d say that Elodie is the sensible one. She’s always looking out for her sister and, if Melody isn’t nearby, she’ll call for her and not settle until she finds her. Which is really sweet. These sisters definitely have a lovely bond together!

Elodie needs an adult only home where she can be given the time to develop her confidence and trust in her owners at her own pace.

Melody is a very chatty girl. She talks to you throughout the day, some of the time to make sure her fosterers know what she wants. This chattiness goes beyond just asking for food or to play, she also likes to keep you updated on what she is doing throughout the day.

She is more confident with humans than her sister is at this time. She enjoys having a stroke and most days will come to you to ask for one. If you’re lucky, she may even let you stroke her lovely soft belly.

Melody loves to show off her athletic abilities. She would certainly be a great contestant in a cat high jump competition. She often reaches table height or higher when trying to catch her favourite wand toy.

Both she and her sister Elodie also enjoy watching TV. Sometimes her curiosity takes her behind it to see if she can find what she has seen on the screen. Melody is the more adventurous one of the sisters and was the first to explore her new surrounding at their foster home, with Elodie following after.

Melody has a really strong bond with her sister. You can see a look of happiness on her face they regularly wash each other, which is really sweet to see and, despite having a bed each, Melody always chooses to squeeze into the same bed as her sister each night.

Melody needs an adult only home and she must rehomed with her sister.

Lulu (F) HC5238

Age: 2 years

Lulu is a very pretty tabby and a lovely friendly girl and is two and a half years old.  She originally came into our care pregnant but the people looking out for her wanted her back after her kittens were adopted.

Her family have recently moved from a house to a flat without access to a garden.   Lulu is very upset as she loved the garden and her owners feel it is unfair to keep her in their flat and are looking for a home for her where she can have a garden.

Lulu would make a great family cat.  She is used to young children and is very friendly.

She has been spayed and will be up to date with her vaccinations and is already micro-chipped.

Pixie (F) HC5261

Age: 21 months
Pixie is related to Pippin
Must be homed with Pippin

Pixie and Pippin were born outside to a stray cat, and because they lived outside without human contact for the first few weeks of their lives they were really timid at first.

They have settled in well, still a bit nervous but enjoy racing round the house.  Pippin has progressed to sitting on my lap, Pixie will sit near me and I have been able to give her some strokes on her terms so things are improving nicely.  They both adore my other pair of fosters so would do well with another feline friendly cat.

Because they are more shy than many of our kittens we think they would thrive better if they were to stay together and in a home without young children

Georgie (F) HC5296

Age: 2 years

One autumn evening a year ago a very pretty calico cat was spotted having just been abandoned on the side of the road, turfed out of a cat basket.  The kind resident who saw this then contacted HAWS immediately.

The cat was taken by HAWS straight to a vet as she was bleeding and clearly not in great shape.  The vet found a badly infected ear, also bladder stones which were surgically removed.   We named her Georgie.

It’s taken many months to get on top of the infection but despite all she’s had to endure Georgie's innate confidence and playful loving nature have blossomed and seen her through.

Georgie is very curious and intelligent.  She refuses to be left out of anything, even the washing-up, and likes to spend the nights cuddling up on the bed and giving and receiving lots of kisses, all the better if before settling, her wand toy is thrown down the stairs so she can fetch and return it with chirps to be thrown again, and again, and…

She likes to go outside but never for long unless you’re with her and never far away.

Georgie is very much her own person and doesn't like her fun interrupted.  She may growl if it’s necessary to isolate her or bat you gently on the leg after restraining her for ear drops but it’s only ever to let you know, never to hurt you or for revenge and her forgiveness is then immediate.

She can cope with being alone when she has a comfy bed, lots of toys and understands she’s not abandoned, especially if there’s a windowsill to sit on and look out for your return.

This affectionate and interactive companion adores attention and would do well in a family that can provide for her lively yet gentle intelligence.  However, she may not slot in with other cats as some find her exuberance too dominating.  Also Georgie must remain on a veterinary diet for life to prevent further bladder stones.  She enjoys her own food but it’s easier keep it that way without temptation from other cat bowls.

Ear infections in cats have a tendency to recur so she’ll probably need preventative routine ear cleaning every couple of weeks or so, which needs to be kept on top of.  If problems return HAWS may be willing to offer financial support.

Georgie is very good in the car.  She puts her paw through the bars on top of your hand and helps change gear...

We think Georgie would enjoy family life as she so much wants to be part of everything, but might be a bit much for small children.

After an unlucky start Georgie deserves her own forever home where she will be loved and cared for with lasting commitment.  Whoever can offer her this will be much rewarded.  And everyone says how beautiful she is!

Baron (M) HC5442

Age: 9 months
Baron is related to Earl

These two gorgeous boys are unexpectedy back on our webiste  and andvailable for adoption. The family who were going to adopt them have had to pull out due to a change in circustances.

Baron and Earl are 2 handsome black and white affectionate and playful boys who love cuddles and attention. They follow me around the house and are ever so helpful, jumping in to give a hand or paw whenever I am cleaning or doing things in the home. They are lap-cats and will jump up on our laps and usually end up curling up for a nap. They are very clean and have no problems using the litter-box. They are clever kitties and come running when I call, especially if it is meal time. They are well bonded and should ideally be adopted in pairs.

Baron is sleek and has silky short black and white hair. He loves to play and will bat and chase balls and toys around the room and down the stairs.

He is very good at catching and will jump and catch toys in mid-air when we throw them to him. He does the cutest meercat impression when he stands up on his hind legs. He loves tummy rubs.

We have nicknamed him ‘Floppy’ because when we are headed to the door to leave or enter a room he will run ahead and flop right in front of it.

He loves human company and is happiest when there is someone playing with him. He adores cuddles and tummy rubs, and will require comfortable laps to cozy up or stretch out on for kitty naps.

Pixie (F) HC5448

Age: 9 months
Pixie is related to Poppy Petal

Confident little Pixie is such a character. She constantly has us in stiches with her latest exploits and little chirps. Confident to the point where other cats hold their tails upright in the air, Pixie's tail often goes all the way over her back towards her head - we are convinced that is where the term 'over confident' comes from!

Pixie is so affectionate and snuggly. Now that the days are getting shorter and colder, Pixie has figured out that snuggles with humans are the way forward. She is sooooo soft, and likes to flop on her back, purring loudly, wanting some tummy rubs.

She is the first one outside, up the tree, on the shed roof, also the first one falling off things and knocking things over, she is definitely the ring leader of the three sisters.

Our little Pixel, Pixar, Pixelation, would do well being homed with one of her sisters - we think best with Poppy, but we can discuss this with her potential adopters when the time comes. She has a lot of energy, and although we mere humans can put in a lot of time and effort playing with her, nothing beats a proper session of chase with your sister to get all that energy out!

Check out more photos of Pixie and her sisters on their foster home's Facebook photo album.

Poppy (F) HC5449

Age: 9 months
Poppy is related to Pixie Petal

Sweet little Poppy has the tendency to flop down in front of you when she wants scritches and tummy rubs - we now often call her Floppy Poppy! She does tend to flop down in the most awkward places (in the middle of the hallway or in front of the door), which constantly has us laughing and of course dropping everything we're doing to attend to madam's needs.

She is definitely the most vocal of the sisters, can do some loud meowing which always makes it sound like something teeeeerrible has happened, so we come running. We think she is just chatting to herself or her sisters, but she has now also figured out it summons us humans, a handy perk when some scritches or some playing is needed.

She also likes to eat with her back legs on the lower beam of the dining table, front legs on the floor, bum in the air. It is hilarious and makes absolutely no sense (although of course it makes absolute sense to Poppy), we will try and get a photo of it!

Like her sister Pixie, Poppy is super playful and has loads of energy, so we do think it would be good for her to be homed with one of her sisters, or with another teenage kitten or a cat who will definitely accept having another cat around.

Poppy is very snuggly and cuddly, but is not yet ready to sit on laps or be picked up. We think she will get there, but needs a bit more time. For this reason we think a home with older children or adults only would suit her better, to make sure she can grow in confidence.

You can see more pictures of Poppy and her sisters on their foster home's Facebook photo album.

Petal (F) HC5450

Age: 9 months
Petal is related to Pixie Poppy

Pretty Petal is such a special little girl. She is totally different from her sisters: a different build and much more shy, although she also has the beautiful calico markings and actually has the most ginger and black patches out of the three of them - she is simply stunning.

We don't know why Petal is so shy, but whatever the reason: we are here for her to move at her pace and do what she feels comfortable with.

She loves playing by herself. She is one of those cats with some absolute favourite toys: a red soft ball and a little bunny Easter decoration she's managed to find somewhere. These toys go everywhere with her. If you see Petal napping in a bed or a basket somwhere in the house, it is almost certain either Red Ball or Bunny is in there with her. She carries them around, chirping loudly, or bats them around with her paws all over the house.

Sweet Petal has now also figured out how to get onto the shed roof, but still can't figure out how to get down. Where her sisters just catapult themselves off, little Petal takes ages figuring it out, meowing loudly. Gentle words of encouragement and staying out of the way eventually get her down, bless her.

Although she loves playing chase with her sisters, Petal could maybe benefit from being either only cat or having only one sister - they do tend to gang up on her a bit. We think she needs some space and time to allow her to flourish and grow into the confident little lady we just know is in there somewhere.

We think it would be nice for her to be homed somewhere that is calm, with people who understand kittens who just need a little more time and bit of understanding. We really believe she will warm up to people - you can see her watching us snuggle with her sisters and she is soooooo tempted to join in, but is still holding back. That's ok little Petal, you do you, take your time.

Evie (F) HC5477

Age: 19 months

Evie and her kittens were strays being cared for by a member of the public, and came into our care when the babies were 6 weeks old. Evie has raised them and now wants them to stop jumping on her and expecting her to play! So we have listened and she has just gone to a foster home on her own.

Evie is the loveliest cat, very friendly and semi long haired. She is a very pretty calico torie and has fabulous long white whiskers which are hard to see in the photos. She loves people, is very trusting, is cat friendly and enjoys her food too!  Evie is calm and chilled out ...the sort of cat who would be a good visitor to a care home for pet therapy says our vet nurse!

She has a food sensitivity which can result in diarrhoea so she needs to be fed only a feline gastro diet (both wet and dry available) and no treats or human food!

  • OK with older children

  • Evie has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated

Maisie (F) HC5505

Age: 17 months

Maisie is the mother of Cosmo and Oz, who was pregnant and thrown out by a person who moved away and threw all of her cats out, having bred them and sold their kittens!

Maisie was being fed by a kind neighbour who alerted us to her and we picked her up from his garden where she  had had her kittens who were two days old .

She is a little shy but loves having her head rubbed.   She will need a quiet home and time to gain confidence in people again.   She loves other cats so would be ideal to go to a home with another cat friendly feline who would help her progress.

It's very rewarding that given time and patience you will see a shy cat blossom and they often become the most loyal and loving pets.

Dynamo (M) HC5533

Age: 6 months

We have been working with a colony of cats near Heathrow Airport for some time but despite neutering over 30 cats there we must have missed a female as she gave birth to kittens in late July!

Dynamo is one of those kittens.  He came into our care at just 5 or 6 weeks old.  He is a confident chap, friendly and loving to be stroked and cuddled (ie given attention!).  He needs to live somewhere he will get a lot of company with someone home in the day.     He is very interested in other cats and goes straight up to them to say hello and is loving living with 5 bigger cats to interact with.  He needs to live with other cats - but not timid ones that he can boss around, he needs confident cats to share his life with whom he can chase and wrestle with.

So Dynamo is confident with people and confident with cats.   Having lived with a dog he seems unfazed by that too.   He could be good with children as he has been happy to be picked up and cuddled by a six year old.   He will have learned all this confidence having lived his very early life with so many other cats and in a noisy environment,  He wants to be the top cat!

Bear (M) HC5544

Age: 7 months

This is Bear, who was found by the side of a busy major road along with his 2 brothers and sister.  Unfortunately the whole litter have had their ears cruelly cut, we think to make them more rounded like a teddy bear.  The damage to his ears has no effect on his hearing.   They must have had a home as they are so friendly.

Despite this sad start to life, Bear is a delight, very affectionate and playful with a calming presence. He would make a lovely addition to any cat loving family.

Puzzle (F) HC5569

Age: 17 months

Puzzle is quite the mummy....she manages to feed and care for all 6 kittens, still letting them feed from her despite all kittens being on solid food, and yet she is so utterly playful and kittenlike herself.

She is sometimes keen to escape the kitten mayhem and roll around in ecstasy on the carpet, leaping incredibly high to chase the flying feather toy, sleeping in the rabbit box full of hay, and purring away under the Christmas tree.

Her greetings to you when you walk into the kitten room are delightful! She is intrigued by the house rabbit, but not at all aggressive toward him. A lovely all round family cat.

Puzzle will be spayed, have started her vaccinations and be micro-chipped before adoption.

Update : 4 of her kittens have been adopted with a viewing arranged for the remaining two. It's time now for Puzzle to move on to her forever home.  She would probably prefer to be only cat so she can get all the love and attention she deserves having been a stray and coming to us heavily pregnant.  She was lucky as she gave birth 3 days after coming into our care.

  • OK with older children

  • Puzzle has been neutered, microchipped and has started vaccinations

Brie (F) HC5580

Age: 14 months

A family of cats were abandoned in a cardboard box in November.  This is the mother cat, the lovely Brie, who is enjoying the peace and quiet now that her boisterous kittens have all been adopted.

She's clearly been through a lot and she is wary of anyone new, but once she has learned to trust you she is very affectionate and will happy curl up either on or beside you.  You can see how trusting she has become with her fosterer, as in the second picture that is Brie lying on her back with her tummy exposed.

She has one of the most beautiful sleek coats you could ever see - and has a funny habit of wandering around her foster home chirping to herself!

Brie would suit a quieter home without young children, with people who can help her to build her confidence in humans again.

  • OK with older children
  • Garden required
  • Brie has been neutered

Finn (M) HC5596

Age: 10 weeks
Finn is related to Fay Roxy Ronnie
Must be homed with Fay

Finn and Fay are 2 adorable kittens born in our care to a stray mother cat we took in when she was heavily pregnant.  All the kittens in the litter play together but Finn and Fay seem to be bonded as a pair, sticking together at play time and when sleeping.  For that reason their fosterer would like them to be homed together.    They have been handled a lot and are very friendly.  They love to snuggle into your arms and any available pockets and fall asleep.

Mum cat Dolly is slowly weaning her babies and they will be starting their vaccinations and be microchipped very soon.

Holly (F) HC5605

Age: 20 months

Holly came into our care as a stray with 3 kittens who have now been adopted.  She had a nasty wound on her side which is now completely healed.

Rather than leave her at the vets over Christmas one of the vet nurses took her home.

"She’s a sweet little cat, very affectionate and playful too. Probably around 2 years old. Her wound has healed very well. She seems ok with other cats as long as they don’t bother her too much.   I really hope someone will want her soon, she really is very sweet! She is sitting next to me on my sofa watching the tv!"

Bob (M) HC5610

Age: 7 months

Bob was handed over to us by his owners who could no longer care for him due to a change in circumstances.  He's a handsome boy with lovely tabby markings and white paws.

He has been vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered so is looking for a new home.  He's curently boarding at one of our vets while we look for a foster place or permanent home. Here's what one of the vet nurses say about him.

Bob is desperate for love and cuddles and loves nothing more than rubbing round your face, draping himself around your shoulders and giving little affectionate nibbles!! Hes such a lovely boy and has really come out if his shell. He is currently on my lap nudging me to stroke him, which isn't easy whilst typing as you can imagine!

He would be the perfect family pet.  He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped

Mackenzie (M) HC5611

Age: 16 weeks

This is gorgeous Mackenzie! He is the sweetest boy with a lovely tabby coat.  Mackenzie is always excited to play and spends most of his waking hours finding people, cats and things to play with – he will really appreciate you spending time to play with him (his favourite toy is a feather wand and his cat tunnel which he can't resist).  He is a bundle of joy and will make you smile everyday with his antics.

Mackenzie is a confident little fellow, although may be a little nervous when you first meet him – but once he gets to know you he will be your constant shadow. When he’s not playing he will happily sit on or next to your lap and curl up for a nap. Mackenzie has a sweet and gentle nature and would be happy in a home with another cat that was accepting of little new arrivals. He is looking for a family that will love him and treat him as part of the family – taking time to play with him each day and not leaving him on his own for too long. Ideally suited to a couple/individual who is at home a lot, and potentially a family with older children.

Mackenzie came into our care as one of three siblings, and his two sisters were adopted together so he’s looking for his own happy home – and he deserves the very best.

  • OK with older children

  • Mackenzie has been microchipped and is fully vaccinated

Baloo (M) HC5616

Age: 10 weeks
Baloo is related to Bella
Must be homed with Bella

When it comes to character, you’d be hard pushed to find a better pair then our lovely Bella and Baloo.  Bella (Female) and Baloo (Male) have the most gorgeous black coats, with the cutest faces and beautiful eyes which are impossible not to fall in love with.

When they are not chasing each other or wrestling, they are trying to escape their room to explore the rest of the home or cuddling up together. For such tiny kittens they have so much energy and love to give. They’re fun, playful, affectionate and smart – these mini panthers will bring you so much joy and make you laugh every day. Both have very sweet and trusting natures - Bella is a little more adventurous and will be first to come and say hello, but Baloo will be right behind her. They like being around humans and it won’t take long after meeting you before they are wanting cuddles and play time with you – you’ll be rewarded with lots of purrs and nudges. If you’re looking for an affectionate, gentle and sweet-natured pair – these two darlings are for you. Bella and Baloo are siblings and very close, and therefore can only go together as a pair.

Gorgeous Baloo is a brave boy who loves his little sister Bella. He loves wrestling with Bella and together they are always looking for a way to escape and explore the rest of our home.  His favourite toy currently is the ball in track, and he loves showing off how good he is at keeping the ball moving. When one of my other foster kittens hissed on meeting them at first, he stepped in front of his sister to defend her (so adorable, even though there was never any danger) – that’s our noble gentleman Baloo.

Bella and Baloo would be more settled in a home with adult/s or a family with older children.

CeeCee (F) HC5619

Age: 9 months

Meet CeeCee.   She was brought to us by a member of the public as some boys were throwing things at her and trying to kick her. She was found not to be micro-chipped. She is boarding temporarily at one of our vets but needs a home.  In the 3rd picture she is doing her best Meerkat impersonation in order to get a better look at what is going on!   This is what the vet nurses say about her.

She’s such a lovely cat and beautiful with golden eyes ! She must have some oriental or something in her I think. She’s so silky and soft and is constantly chirping and chatting!

She would be the perfect family pet.

Mabel (F) HC5620

Age: 6 months
Mabel is related to Millie
Must be homed with Millie

Mabel {black) and her sister Millie {black & white} were dumped outside a local vet practice.  They were very frightened and it's taken them some time to trust humans again.

Mabel is open to strokes now and is gaining confidence.  They are a bonded pair and should ideally be homed together.  They need a quiet adult-only home so they can continue to build their confidence and with time and patience will become loyal companions. They would probably be best suited to someone who is cat experienced.

Mabel will have started her vaccinations, been spayed and micro-chipped before homing.

Amy (F) HC5623

Age: 5 years

Amy is a lovely little cat who came to us as a stray.  She had had to live outside for quite a while until a member of the public gave her shelter whenever they were able.  Amy is quite adventurous and loves to be stroked.  She has settled well with us after being understandably wary at first.   She is quite chatty and absolutely loves to look out of the window,  so she will be in her element to have her own safe garden to explore whilst also enjoying home comforts which she has so much missed having and is so treasuring now.

Amy is neutered and microchipped and she will be vaccinated before she leaves for her forever home
