Jezabel

urgent

email(F) JEZABEL - 1yr old

Born in our care, Jezabel is a dark tortoiseshell female with small amount of white. She is pretty and playful, happy and sociable and very friendly but for some reason she has been overlooked. She will need a garden. She is fine living with other cats but can also go on her own to a quiet home. (JB290509/160609/DOB)

Jezabel's sister has just been homed but she still has her Mum for company. She's a nice girl, not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but harmless. When she was a baby I was fairly sure (seriously) that she was a tad backward. She has improved with age tho and hasn't got a bad bone in her body really. She never played as a baby, but was happy to watch her five mates playing. She was the last to feed herself away from Flo and even after Flo was neutered I would catch Jez happily trying to extract milk from her so I had to split them up!!! other than that she's fine.

She has discovered the cat flap, although she never goes further than the steps; a garden is therefore not essential as they have been happy to live indoors despite having access to the outside. However, I think that in a ground-floor property she would soon be venturing outside.

ollie

urgent

email (M) OLLIE

Ollie is all black and is now about 2 years old (nov-09). Although he was very nervous when he first arrived, he is now very confident with us. He really likes being stroked, and purring very easily, and he likes to lay on his side and have you stroke his belly. He always comes to the door to say hello when we come home, and is incredibly chatty and he has a very cute kittenish voice. He loves to play with tiny grey fluffy mice, and catnip toys. Although over time he’s become very confident with us, he’s still a bit shy with strangers, can still be a little jumpy at times, and he’s still not overly keen on being picked up. Because of this we don't think he'd be suitable for families with young children, which might be too hectic, or with ones that want a cat to carry around. He has been fully vaccinated and neutered. e(F) JASMINE & (M) MICA

(M) INDIE

3yr old black and white Mum with her kittens who are now about 2 yrs old. We have had them since they were 7 weeks old! It is high time they found permanent homes. They are all in the same foster home. (RHB-TS290907/7w)

Update from foster home:

Jasmine: 3yr old girl, mostly black with a little white. She is being driven to distraction by her children and wants you to rescue her as asap! Although she does want to bring along her favourite son – Mica, who she has a huge soft spot for and will have a smoochy time with a couple of times a day purring and rubbing against him declaring her motherly love! Mica has really helped Jasmine discover her affectionate side although its yet to stretch to humans, mind you the last week or two she has been letting me steal a few strokes after watching Mica enjoy it, so she is making progress albeit very slowly. Jasmine is desperate to get out to play in a nice safe garden, she isn’t feral but did spend her first year living outside in a garden and doesn’t trust humans, so needs someone who is willing to make an effort with her, on her terms. She is confident within herself and once she realises you aren’t going to hurt her or try and pick her up she will trust you but will be very nervous of you until you prove yourself. Jasmine is intelligent and likes to communicate with you through her eyes, she will stare meaningfully at you when she wants fed and blinks and winks at you to smile at you and answer yes. Doesn’t like children. Your bed is her bed, she won’t appreciate you thinking otherwise. To go with Mica.

Mica: 2yr old boy, all black. The tallest one of the family, Mica has a roman nose look and used to be the strongest/toughest until they all had a big fight one day and it frightened him and he has backed off from everyone since, but is still a mummy’s boy, he’s loves Jasmine. He won’t be picked up and doesn’t like to be approached but he absolutely loves a good stroke when he is lying down on your bed and flattens his head and ear to invite you to do so. He is the quietest and quite cautious, and rather elegant and serious. He likes to play with a dangly toy and if you’re daring enough your hand/finger – be warned he still has a hard swipe! He is a very nice pleasant boy that deserves a nice peaceful home, with no children. To go with Jasmine.

Indie: 2yr old boy, all black. A real smooch! Loves to be stroked all the time, can’t get enough, will jump up on sofa to snuggle, pressing himself in hard against your side demanding to be stroked. He is rather cheeky and will take a swipe at you if you stroke him to firmly, which is hard to resist! He’s sees this as a good opportunity to have a good old wrestle with you – advisable to put a sock on your hand – he has sharp claws! Indie will be a wonderful companion and prefers humans to other cats, doesn’t like children that much though, he won’t entertain my 12yr old, just tolerates her. Will need someone who wants a close relationship with their pet and lavish attention on him and he will reward you by being a loving and cheeky friend. A confident boy who plays peacemaker with the others – he guards Jasmine when she has started a fight, warning her he is in charge and to stop at once! Can go on his own.

(F) CASSIE

2 year black and white girl - fluffy - mega friendly with humans but must be only cat! (LR271107/13M)

Update from new foster home: Cassie (now called Millie) is a sweet little long haired black and white cat. She is rather timid and needs lots of reassurance but is steadily growing in confidence. She loves lots of petting but does not like being picked up and is not a lap-cat. Millie can be quite mischievous when the mood takes her! She will benefit from a fairly quiet home with no young children. I think that is Millie in a nutshell.

(F) SASHA & (F) SHELLEY

Shelly and Sasha come from a multi-cat home where they were very much-loved pets. Their owner is having to part from them, through no fault of their own, as she is moving soon to accommodation which is totally unsuitable for them. Neither has been used to living with young children or dogs as they lived together with one lady owner since they were kittens. They would be OK with sensible older children. They were vet-checked on collection on 6 January. (CS090109/2&4Y)

Shelly is a lovely, quite large and very friendly black laid-back two-year old who loves to be picked up and hugged once she knows you. She loves nothing more than to settle on your bed for the night, and is quite vocal when she wants attention. She has always lived with:

Sasha is a sweet chunky little black girl aged four. An engaging and very pretty petite girl, she loves to sit on a welcoming lap and although she is OK with other cats, seems to prefer human company to feline! Although they get on together, they could well be homed separately as they are not inseparable.

Misty

e(F) MISTY

10yr Misty is a lovely sweet-natured cat, who loves exploring every nook and cranny, inside and in the garden. She has a routine of getting up in the morning to see what is new in the garden and the allotment and then to bed for a snooze. She does need three weekly steroid injections as she has quite a severe allergic reaction and will begin to bite the fur off her front and bag legs, unless it is kept under control with the steroid treatment. (JS310709/?y)

Daisy

Email(F) DAISY

Daisy is 2.5year old tabby girl. She is very sweet, but petrified of men. She would be fine in a quiet household with women only! Please
give her a chance as she is rather striving to be on her own - and I promise! she will be no trouble! Just a cushion and a bowl of food, and a cuddle and a stroke and she will be teleported to kitty heaven! (RHB270909/2.5Y)

Update from foster home: Like the flower, Daisy is very pretty and very sweet natured. She has a beautiful coat with quite striking tabby markings. She is shy at first, but will quickly become friendly (I found her smoochy and purry within a couple of visits!). She would flourish in a quiet household with women only please (she is very frightened of men). Daisy is no trouble - just a cushion, a bowl of food and a cuddle - and you will have a wonderfully affectionate friend forever.

Olive

Email(F) OLIVE

A lovely, small and beatiful 2 yr old black female with spot of white on her chest. she is speyed and vaccinated. She had kittens with us, but will now be looking for her new home. She will be a devoted friend, but would prefer to stay as only cat as she may get jelous of other cats. She wants to offer you a sole and devoted love! She will need some time to settle. Fully vaccinated. (RHB-LP270909/18M)

Update from foster home: Olive took her time to settle in and was extremely afraid when she first arrived. But, after a month, she started to build her confidence and now comfortably spends time with us, while exploring the whole house. She is very affectionate and really likes head butting your hand and rolling around on her back. She always comes to greet you when you come home and usually likes to have a good run around the house, especially with her catnip toy. Olive can be very timid, and has a sweet little meow. While she's developed her confidence, Olive doesn't want to be picked up, she is still be jumpy at times, especially if you put your hand over her head. She can also be nervous if you walk past her. Olive needs someone who can spend time with her, building her trust. We don't think she will be suitable with children because she can be nervous.

Update 7th May 2010: She's really come out of her shell since she first came to us. She will still need an owner who has the time to encourage her and excepts that she can still get a bit scared. She's also now been outside, but unfortunately the two cats next door are inquisitive and peer into our back door every day which is stopping her from going out on her own. Because of this I feel it would be good if she can be homed sooner rather than later. She doesn't sit on our laps, but does curl up on our bed.

Email(F) TIPSY

Tipsy is tortie with a ginger tip to her tail. She is a delightful young cat – approx one year to 18 months and confident. Loves people but not keen on other cats so would like her owner/s all to herself. She is being looked at this week so may already have a home to go to. (JH051009/18M)

SylvesterMitsy

Email(M) SILVESTER & (F) MITSY

Sylvester is the long haired one, he's around thirteen, healthy, he's quite vocal when he wants food or attention and does like to go out. He's not a lap cat but loves to sit next to you on the sofa.

Mitsy is a nine year old female who is quite timid but really coming out of herself (Sylvester was the owner's favourite) she will now come up on the sofa for a fuss but doesn't settle. She trys to meow but nothing much comes out which is really sweet. She prefers to stay indoors but will occassionaly follow Sylvester down the garden much to his annoyance. (SH091109/13&9Y)

Mitsy

Email(F) MITSY

Mitsy (was Missy) – she is a very sweet quite girl. Around 2.5 yrs. Has a very quiet purr and meow. She loves to relax and sleep, will occasionaly come on to laps but prefers to lay next to you. Not good with other cats or dogs and best with older owners as a bit jumpy. She came from an elderly chap who had another cat which she didn’t like so was living in an out building, not sure where she came from before that. She will also like a home with a garden as she seems to like to go out, although she isn’t allowed to at the moment. (TB241109/2.5Y)

Mitsy is a very sweet and quiet girl. She has now started to settle in her foster home and during the day loves to sleep in the spare room on the washing that’s in the basket if she can get away with it. But once you come home she comes down the stairs to great you to have a stroke. Then waits patiently by the door to get to her most favorite bed, her radiator bed. Once on this she is out for the count and will only look up if someone comes in but head is back down as soon as its up. Full of character!

Butch

Email(M) BUTCH

4-5yr Butch is a gorgeous fluffy tabby cat, we tried to change his name when he first came to us, but he knows and answers to it and the name has grown on us and so Butch it is! He took quite a while to settle with us being, I think, a very much adored companion to an elderly couple who gave him a lot of attention and companionship. He loves access to the garden but when he comes in he always calls to find out where I am and he does love to be stroked and rubbed which he rewards which an easy purr. He really is a joy to have around but he would like more companionship than we are able to give him as we both work and he gets very lonely during the day. He loves the weekends when we are around and he will make a wonderful pet for someone, he loves both male and female company and is very affectionate indeed. (SL070110/4-5Y)

Email(M) BILL & (M) BEN

Pair of black brothers - about 8 months old. Quite friendly once they get to know you but they are quite scared at first. They are very happy together and can go with other cats too. (SP090110/8M)

Update from foster home: Bill & Ben are both lovely cats and are very purry, however they don't like being picked up or being held. They are very playful and love each other - they go everywhere side by side. They are not for children. Both love to come on the bed with you and are both very playful.

Leo
Louis

Email(M) LEO & (M) LOUIS

These 2 boys were part of a household where the old boy died – he had loads of cats, all unneutered, and the RSPCA took all of them away but these two were not around at the time. They have now been neutered etc and probably could go together if pos. Big boy, Louis is more shy than Leo the smaller fluffy one who is already starting to become more friendly. He is very sweet. They both love to play. (SP160110/3&1Y)

Both now quite friendly. Big boy Louis wants to go out and be quite vocal. He likes to flop down on the floor and rolls over. Once you start stroking Leo he's lovely and wants a fuss. They are both friendly once you get to know them and are both nice cats. Both playful and good with other cats.

Email(M) SOOTY & (F) SUZIE (to go together)
(M) SWEEP (can go on his own)

3 lovely black kittens now 1 yr old - They are all friendly and playful but will need a quiet, experienced home without children, and a few months to come round as they have in their current foster home. All vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. (L&MG020809/10W)

Update from foster home: These kittens came from a feral mother so were very scared to start. However they are now very friendly with them. SOOTIE & SUZIE are very loving. Suzie in particular is a little flirt! They both love to roll over for affection and would be great going as a pair. They enjoy being stroked but prefer not to be picked up and held. SWEEP is much more shy but is now very friendly with his foster mum but wary of her husband. He is however much more independent and enjoys sleeping by himself on the top of a wardrobe. He seems a bit more grown up then his siblings. They all love the scratching post and playing with their toy mice and getting into everything. They are also now enjoying going out in the garden. Sooty also likes climbing curtains!

Allen
Allen

skye
Skye

AllenSkye

(M) ALLEN & (F) SKYE - 7 months old - to go as a pair

2 x tabby/white kittens left: Allen & Skye. Both neutered and vaccinated. Allen is a beautiful tabby boy but is very shy and Skye is mostly white and friendly. Vaccinated and neutered. PLEASE NOTE: NOT FOR CHILDREN (SD051009/10)

Update from foster home for Skye and Allen (10th may 2010)

SKYE
Skye had a poor start in life and sufffered through not having enough attention as a young kitten. She has come a long way though, is a very people friendly cat and loves to come and sit purring on your lap. She is jealous of other cats though, so would be best on her own or with her brother Allen. She likes playing and will keep you happily entertained. She would benefit from people who could spend time with her because she loves company so much.

ALLEN
Allen has made huge strides since I first got him when he was a very nervous cat who would not even let me approach him. He is now a friendly, though still nervous cat, but now I can pick him up, he comes and sits on our laps when we watch tv. He would benefit from a calm and experienced home without children.

Both kittens will take a while to settle in a new home and will be very scared with visitors.

Splodge
Macy

Email(M) SPLODGE & (F) MACY- 7 months

Gracy's 2 kittens (brother and sister) are 5 months. These siblings are shy, but will come round with lots of TLC. Both are black with lovely white markings on their faces. They can go together. Vaccinated. NOT FOR HOMES WITH CHILDREN! (J&AS090210/5M)

Update from foster home: Those cats had made a long journey since they came to us. Macy came out of her shell - she is very purrry, playful, funny, but still sometimes nervous. However, she would come close purring and glaring her eyes at me. She would let me pick her up and she cuddles in my neck or arm. She loves strokes and let us rub her belly. She wakes up, to remind us about feeding times and chirps when she runs to the kitchen. She assists us while we work on the computer, chasing the mouse on the screen, or trying to nest on the keyboard. She is the real girl of the house (we even call her that in dutch - Maise). She would be fine on her own or together with her brother.

Splodge is getting his trust and courage together. Now he lets me stroke him and pick him up and he purrs his heart out! He sleeps on our bed, usually cudling to my side. He is very playful sweet, and funny. He needs company, so best home would be with his sister, or as a second cat to a gentle older female.

Both of them love their food and our greatest cooking companions we ever had! No trip to the kitchen is unnoticed!

Meg
Molly

Email(F) MEG & (F) MOLLY - 7 months old

6 month old pair (possibly siblings). Molly is tortie & Meg is black. They are both very petite still and are nice cats though are still a bit shy. They came from a home that didn't look after their animals well - the dog was in a terrible state and was removed by the RSPCA. They love to play. THEY ARE NOT FOR CHILDREN. Neutered and vaccinated. (SP200210/6M)

Update from foster home. Meg is still very shy but will come round with patience. Molly is a little darling and loves to come on your lap. She is very affectionate. She is so sweet and if she wants some attention she will gently lift her paw to your face! Very cute!

Pixie
Kiki

Email(F) Pixie (Black Medium Hair) & (F) Kiki (Black & White) – 11 months old

Kiki and Pixie, are very sweet girls who really deserve a permanent home. They are rather discerning and shy around people they don’t know, but are very affectionate, devoted and loving when they know and trust people. Once settled, it is impossible not to fall in love with this pair. Apart from being a little shy, they have no bad habits and are a joy to have around. They need to be homed together.

Both love being stroked and will lie beside you or climb on a warm lap for more attention, but are not demanding or needy. They are still playful and really enjoy their cat toys, ping pong balls, the pop up cat cubes and the cat tower. They have been living in a multi-cat household with both adult cats and kittens, and they get along fine with all of them. They would also fit in well with an owner who is out during the day. This pair ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN as they will just go and hide, then will come out as if nothing has happened once the coast is clear. Both are fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. (JF-JT140110/14W)

Update from foster home:

PIXIE has a loud purr, and the most incredible medium length, black, glossy coat which feels like velvet. She rubs around your legs and loves being patted, going almost delirious with happiness. She adores the woollen dangling toys and will run up and down the stairs and around the house with one hanging from her mouth before dropping it at your feet. To see more of Pixie click here

KIKI also has a beautiful coat, which is as smooth as silk and has an elegant, sleek body shape. She also adores being stroked and will purr for England. Like her sister, she is playful, and the two of them will keep themselves entertained for ages. Her particular favourite are the rattling mice toys and a little crochet mouse which she will carry around from room to room. To see more of Kiki playing with her sister click here

Marmalade

Email(F) MARMALADE

Marmalade is an eight-year old female tortoiseshell and white cat, with a coat that is gorgeous to stroke as well as admire. She is an affectionate cat with lots of character, who never wanders far, enjoys human company and a lap to sit on, and is very vocal. She is the grand-daughter of a previous cat of ours and has been in the family since she was a kitten. We shall all miss her. As far as I know, she is in perfect health. (WIWviaCarol050510/8Y)

Oskie
Edie
Oskie & Edie

Email(M) OSKIE & (F) EDIE

OSKIE: Mostly black with white paws. He has a black face but with white chin and whiskers. An absolutely delightful old boy. He loves to get onto your lap, put his paws round your neck and rub his head against you, while purring loudly. He is delightul. However, he is the messiest eater - he scoops his food onto the edge of his bowl and leaves it all around! He also likes to drink from running taps. It was difficult getting a photo of him as he spends most of his time curled up on his foster mum's bed (sorry, his bed) just asleep. He is 16yrs old. (WR020610/16Y)

EDIE: She is 50/50 black and white. Her face is black with a white triangle. She also has a large triangle on her front which looks more like a heart! She is probably Oskie's sister and is the shyer of the two. Oskie regularly helps himself to her food. She seemed happy with Oskie but since another foster cat moved in (Thelonius) she doesn't like it! She used to love sleeping on the bed but now tends to keep to her chair in another room. However she is always in for a cuddle in the morning. She always looks a bit worried and might benefit from a lot of reassurance and love. She could go to a separate home from her brother but it might be best for them to go together. She is 16yrs old. (WR020610/16Y)

TASHA

Email(F) TASHA

Tasha is a very pretty semi long-haired tabby; I think she's about 18mths old, and she's had all her vaccinations and is micro-chipped. In terms of temperament, she can be a bit of a "diva", but she is also affectionate and loves a fuss - she has a very cute habit of throwing herself enthusiastically into a roll-over at your feet when she wants your attention! She likes to go out in the garden and soak up the sun, and occasionally goes for a walk around the block, but she doesn't go far, and really prefers to be wherever you are, sitting next to you on the sofa or sitting on top of the chair, watching the world go by out of the window. She's very fond of her food, but has quite a sensitive stomach, and she does need a good regular brush (especially if she's been in the garden!), so she needs an owner who is around at least during the evenings and weekends to look after her. I think she would prefer a quiet home without children ... and preferably somewhere that she will be the centre of attention!! (MS260610/18M)

Munchkin

Email(M) MUNCHKIN

2yr Munchkin arrived at HAWS after his owners had a new baby. After a long stay in the cattery, it became apparent that there was something wrong with his back legs, so he came to foster care so he could stretch his legs and work the kinks out. After a couple of trips to the vet, his diagnosis was in, and his prognosis is good! A neurological virus before he was born has given his back legs somewhat of a “wobble”. This doesn’t cause him any difficulty or pain, and most of the time, you don’t even notice the wobble. He’s about two years old, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (of course!). He runs around and plays exactly like you’d expect from a young cat – he’s on the furniture, on the bed, and up and down the stairs! He’s not too keen to stand on people, probably due to the combination of wobbly surface and wobbly legs, but that just means he lies alongside you instead to be nice and near. Munchkin loves being with us, and will follow us from room to room, although his favourite spot at the moment is on the balcony enjoying the fresh air. He always joins us on the bed for his bedtime snack, and then wanders off for spots with more room to stretch! Munchkin is a delightful young man who’s looking to settle into a fairly calm home where his new owners will reap the benefits of one of the sweetest cats I’ve met in a long time! (TD290610/?)

Chloe

Email(F) CHLOE

Chloe is a sweet and very good natured older female who would make a lovely companion for a slightly older person. Chloe spends a lot of her day snoozing and loves to sit on your lap and have a cuddle in the evening. She eats well and loves being brushed and we are gradually restoring her coat to how it should be. Chloe appears to be so grateful to at last be in a domestic environment after living in a garden for so long as a stray. (LE190710/12Y)

Tiago

Email(M) TIAGO & (F) TORA - 7 months

Those 2 black cats are delightful Tiago (boy) and Tora (girl). They look very much alike, but one is friendly and other is more on timid side. They lived at a doorstep before getting to us. Vaccinated and neutered. (RHB100410/5m)

Update from foster home: Tiago is a friendly boy now and loves a fuss and will blossom with some tlc. Tora is a little more shy and it would be nice if they could go together. Tora is becoming more confident and like her brother will benefit from her own home. They were rescued from living on a doorstep in Southall and we hope they can go on to much better things.

Email(M) PAUL & (M) PETER (top 2 pics) - 7 months

Paul and Peter are young cats which were picked up from a rubbish hip in a garden where they had tried to fend for themselves. Peter is quite friendly, but Paul is timid and would need some reassurance. Quiet home. Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. (RHB100410/5M)

(F) TINA & (F) LUCY (bottom pic) - 6 months

Tina and Lucy were found on a wasteland. Those sisters are around 4 months. Quite purry and affectionate, but quiet home would be better for them. It would be nice for them if they could go together. Vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. (RHB100410/4M)

Peter and Lucy (the friendlier ones) are now paired up in a new foster home. Awaiting details. (AH)

EmailARCHIE, ALFIE, ASHLEY & AGGIE - 11 weeks

Four black kittens born late March/early April. Would prefer it if they went in pairs as they are very playful and sociable with each other, and enjoy running around the flat after each other. They love to explore and have been found all over our flat. They enjoy playing with their toys especially the little mice! They enjoy being stroked and will often join us on the sofa for a cuddle (one is even helping me to write this! See picture). (AS150510/7W)

EmailPHOEBE's kittens - MERLIN & DESIREE - 11 weeks

Phoebe - lovely young tabby mum. She is around 1 year old. She is really friendly and sweet. Vaccinated and neutered. (RHB-TM150510/1Y)

Kittens are around 11 weeks. Not vaccinated yet as they are too young. Really sweet and adventurous kitty souls! Both friendly.
Merlin - white and tabby boy. Desiree - black and white girl. (RHB-HW150510/7W)

Update from foster home: There are two little cuties! Merlin, the white and tabby boy, is the leader and the bigger of the two, but his black and white sister Desiree is never far behind. They want very much to stay together and on the one occasion they were accidentally on different sides of a door for a couple of minutes Desiree stopped racing around and went to hide in her bed, missing Merlin already. Although they love playing, and don't really want to sit still at all when there are humans around to play with, they purr loudly when cuddled and stroked and Merlin does a fine line in rasping your nose with his tongue, wanting to return the love and stroking he is getting. They respond well to the rustle of a cat food sachet - very handy indeed for getting them back in their own room! - and are good eaters.

Can you give these two the loving home they deserve?

Lobuz

Email(M) LOBUZ - 13 weeks old

Hello everyone! My name is Lobuz (wobooz) and I am 9 week old boy kitten. My mummy died when I was 9 days old, but the vet nurses looked after me so well that I do not have any trauma. I am confident, human loving kitten. At the moment I am living with 2 hoominzz and some other kitties, who I love to play with, but I am looking for a fun family to live with. I think I need to be the only cat as when I grow up as I might be jealous of other cats. I would love to have a garden to play in and lots of toys to play with. Beware! I have broken a couple of hearts already. I promise that if you adopt me, I will sleep on your lap and your head! I am super uber fun fun fun! Please send your cv to my hoominzzzz. They can read it to me and I will decide if I will be the perfect kitten 4 u!!!!!! (J&AS090510/9W)

MISHKA, the most outgoing and friendly is very sweet - just like a teddy bear. Mainly black with a few white hairs on his leg. This one is also the most adventurous. He is a boy

PIPKIN is the black and white - the most shy

MUFFIN and FLYNN are the other 2 black ones.

All very sweet, friendly and playful (LA210510/7W)

Linda

(F) EmailLINDA - 15 weeks old

Delightful tortie and white kitten with white bib & belly, very friendly and is ok with other cats although a little bossy! Would be fine with a family and is very confident and sweet. (AH260510/3M)

Linda is an absolutely gorgeous kitten with a huge personality: she arrived only a week ago and has already established who's boss: she now walks around the house between two minders, Felipe and Chico (the two huge, male cats who were already in residence).

She is mega-tame and mega-friendly, a most affectionate sweetheart. She purrs like a generator with very little encouragement :-))). She will take the initiative to come and meet you.

Linda is also used to being around other cats, so would be fine in a household with other feline pets; this would be so as long as the resident cats are not too old as, being extremely playful and inquisitive, she might prove too much of a handful for them. Linda will need outside space and, were she to be an only cat, she will also need human company during the day. Not suitable for young children.

Carlitos

Email(M) CARLITOS - 11 weeks old

8 week old black semi long haired fluffy kitten - (GeS280510/8W)

Update from foster home: Carlitos is a little star. He's incredibly playful (in fact, he just ran up my trousers and sat on my laptop). He's now very good at using the litter box. When awake, he's happy to play by himself for a while but will soon run over for a scrap. He also loves using me for pounce practice. (He does tend to bite and scratch a lot during play so he might not be that good with children at the moment).

He's not into being stroked yet and turns any attempt at stroking into a play fight. He hates using pet beds and prefers to tuck himself away for day time naps. At night he sleeps on the pillow beside me. He has a tendency to follow you around the room, keeping very close to your feet and he loves chewing and beating up slippers. He also tends to run around with his ears flung back and a mad look in his eyes. He also has her silent meow - which is very sweet.

I've attached a picture of one of his typical poses. To read more about him please click here

EmailMADDIE's 2 x Tabby/white kittens (Jethro & Ziva)

We heard about some newborn kittens in a shed where the kids had disturbed the mother and they hadn’t been fed for about 24 hours. We were desperate for someone to handrear and we were lucky to get them quickly to a foster home. Luckily the next day Mum was found and reunited with her kittens.

Shortly after this we also heard about an orphan ginger kitten (Sadie). He was just a few days older than the newborns so we rushed him round and the mum luckily accepted him even though he is a bright ginger colour and is a fair bit bigger than his new litter mates! See SADIE's - description below.

All kittens now doing very well and are friendly. (FE140510/1D)

Email(F) Mrs Harrods' 4 x Kittens - 6 weeks old

Mrs Harrods and her four gorgeous kittens who are about 6 weeks old. Mrs Harrods’s four kittens were picked up from one of the Harrods vintage vans at their depot in Osterley as kind people there were concerned about them. Despite not having had a lot of contact these kittens are extremely friendly and love a cuddle. Two white with black spotty marking and two black. Mum is very wild and will shortly be spayed and returned where the people care for her and feed her. Details to come soon. (RHB150610/6W)

Update from photographer: Once upon the time a mummy cat, later called Mrs. Harrods nested herself in a vintage Harrods van in one of the depots in West London. There she gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens. We trapped Mrs. Harrods together with the offspring and there they are: Spotty - adventurous and friendly boy; Dotty - sweet and inquisitive; Matt - lovable mummie's boy and Debbie - independent sweet girl. Matt and Debbie are hard to tell apart as they are black kittens. They all will be friendly.

Ella

Email (F) ELLA - 9 weeks old

Ella is a headstrong little girl who already knows what she wants. likes and lets you know just that. She is a fearsome player when the mass 'bundles' gets started and play is on - this is when she does not want to be picked up and cuddled, try it and she will vocally make you aware that now is not the time, but when she is ready she loves all the fuss and attention you can give her abd her purring can fill the room. Ella is sister to Romulus & Remus

Email(F) JESSIE & (M) MATT, (M) JONNY & (F) JULIA - 10 weeks

JESSIE & MATT - An almost identical pair of energetic and endlessly playful ‘dinner jacket’ kittens with white bibs and paws. Affectionate, happy and purry. Jessie is a girl and Matt a boy.

JONNY - Magnificent fluffy long haired black and white boy. Boisterous, bold and handsome, with an attitude to match. Very purry and inquisitive. Chatty and outgoing.

JULIA- A mirror image of Jonny (above). Shy until she gets to know you. Very playful. Should probably go with Jonny to give her confidence.

Julia is terrified of strangers, hissy and scared, but once she gets to know you (about two/three weeks) she is an affectionate, purry and playful girl. It will be hard for her to start all over again in another new home so she should go to someone sympathetic!

Felipe

Email(F) FELIPE - 13 weeks

Very handsome and playful silver tabby kitten. Felipe is an energetic and friendly kitten who loves company. He will make a wonderful family pet. He will need someone home during the day or a friendly feline companion. (BN280610/13W)

Update from foster home: He is a very friendly kitten once he gets to know you personally. He has a enthusiastic purr. Can be a bit of love biter that includes face. so he is best not for a family with young children like under 5's (My Daughter is 5 and can handle him well)
He would be great to go with a friendly cat. He can really stick up for him self and is a bit of a trouble maker with my existing cat that's in a nice way!

Leroy
Cutie

Email(M) LEROY & (M) CUTIE PIE - 9 weeks?

We were given a litter of four jet black babies who had just been separated from their feral mother. Four little black bundles of hissing, spitting, claw wielding, frightened feral kittens.

LEROY: Leroy was the first to decide being handled by humans was really...not so bad! In a short space of time he was sitting on the settee with me purring loudly and yelling for more if I stopped stroking him. He loves to play on the keyboard of my PC is just as happy joining in with the mass playtime that my other foster kittens have. When he has had enough he will curl up on the settee next to me and drift off to sleep purring. Leroy is litter box trained and is a good eater.

CUTIE PIE: Cutie is the only fluffy in the litter. It took Cutie a couple of days longer than Leroy to work out that humans can be fun. Cutie is a real 'head' cat, he simply adores his head being stroked and pushes into your hand for more and more, he also likes to kiss. Cutie loves to play with the gang and is a born explorer. A very confident kitten he is another of the litter that will curl up either on, or next to human friends when sleepy time comes. Fully litter box trained and eats well, CutiePie is just....well...a REAL Cutie.

Sakura
Sakura

Email(M) BEAU & (F) SAKURA

2 confident, purry, well socialised, marmalade ginger kittens. Now just over 9 weeks old.

Beau had to have his given name because he is simply beautiful. Although pure Alpha Male material, we believe him to be the most gentle. He is the strongest and largest with well defined "fox-face" features.. He has the richest orange coat with a broad band down his back and the contrasting fur under his chin seems almost a pale yellow. His coat is slightly fluffier than his sister Sakura.

Sakura (in Japanese "Cherry blossom") is a perfectly formed mini-cat. Very tidy in her nature and as smart as paint. Like Button she wants to sleep on you or be "babied" too.
She will look long and hard into your eyes as if to guess what you are thinking and then wrinkle her eyes up in a blissful smile. She is very fond of sleeping on her back with her legs stretched out and often grabs her head with her paws crossing over her face. She is that very rare thing ; a female ginger cat.

All these lovely kittens will seek you out when its time to rest or sleep, either huddled against you, or on your lap. All have fantastic purrs and will scramble all over you for chicken pieces. Naturally, they are as crazy when it comes to play time as every other kitten and are obsessed with the tail of my own grown up male cat. They like paper balls, hiding under blankets, and playing "kitten trains" around the house. (HS200710/9W)

Email(M) STAN & (F) STARLIGHT

Stan and Starlight, now 16 weeks old. They are totally domesticated, and play with my labrador. They are really sweet and fluffy. (AD200710/16W)

Update from foster home: Stan is the male, black and white with white socks. He's gorgeous, with long white whiskers. Starlight is female, all black, with a very pretty face and expression. Both long-haired, soft and fluffy. Both very affectionate and will curl up beside us. They're not used to children, but played happily with the prospective adopters that came. Their litter mates went to a family with a 15-year-old and an 11-year-old. They're both very strong and robust, and would be fine with sensible children.
